Teneille Knight is a native of Oak Grove, Louisiana but lives in Texas with her beautiful daughter (Jada Hill). She grew up in the church and was baptized at an early age. It did not matter where Teneille moved to, she was going to always plant herself in a church and attend faithfully. As she got older, she noticed she began to develop a desire for a real relationship with God. Her relationship with God drew out the gifts of writing and praying. Her gift for writing was noticed in high school by one of her favorite teachers (Mr. Gary Traylor). The encouragement she received from him gave her endurance to focus on that gift.
Teneille was prompted by the holy spirit to write a book. After years of knowing what she should have been doing and running from the assignment to write a book, she finally took a leap of faith. God would give her spiritual downloads for her first book. Many of the events in her first book led her to pray for herself and others.
She is now the Author of "Pushed on Purpose Living with depression", the creator of the A-Z Prompted Prayer Journal as well as a Monthly Prayer booklet. She has been writing for decades because she understands that spoken/written words can create things. She uses her words to create books and content that transforms the lives of others. She believes that her writing can be a great tool when it comes to healing from the past, different traumas, and catastrophic memories that hold people hostage from being set free. If nothing else, her writing provokes a will and a desire to change.
She shared her testimony of vulnerabilities and several weak moments in "Pushed on Purpose: living with depression" which gave others an opportunity to walk in freedom. Her desire is for others to come to Christ and heal one word at a time.
Her mission statement is to educate, empower, and build up women with faith-based and mental health content. Her writing has been well received by those who have supported her works.
God then began to give her reasons to pray, and she would write them down until she got comfortable just praying without any assistance except for the Holy Ghost. Her prayer ministry started by informal face-to-face encounters with random people that God would tell her to pray for. Then, God began nudging her to pray for others on Facebook back in 2014. Her love for praying grew and that is how the Prayer journal and Monthly Prayer booklet came about years later.
Lastly, Teneille wanted to stand out from the crowd. So, she took the necessary steps to get her book "Pushed on Purpose: living with depression" placed in 4 local libraries. In her labor of love and desire for others to succeed, she created a God-inspired program in 3/5/2022 to help other self-published Authors get their books in the library.
Her motto is "there is no greater reflection to have than the image of God."
