There is a mindset that can occupy your head space that makes you feel as though you are stuck or paralyzed without any options. This blog is to help you realize it takes faith to reside in a different place other than stuck. You will have to call on God to overcome this as He is your Navigator through treacherous waters. Allow God to be your GPS. Usually, a GPS system can only function when a vehicle is in movement and headed in an appointed direction. There are three things to do to overcome “the stuck place”. You must pray to God about the situation, you must set things in motion and began to believe that you always have options.
Praying for God to move you from the stuck place
Our very existence is because of God, and without his strength we could do nothing. Psalm 28:7 reads, “The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.” When you know your strength comes from the Lord, your stuck place no longer matters to you. It’s as if it is non-existent because you are relying on God’s strength and power to get you through things. Your stuck place could be a job, a relationship, a circumstance, or an addiction. I think you get the point. When you have allowed the enemy to trick you into believing you are stuck, it blocks movement, traction, your destiny, and your assignment. The stuck place is a valley that will destroy you and send you limping back to things and people that are holding you down. That is why you must start moving.
Moving and putting things in motion
Do you like initiating movement? Think about when the sun rises, and you are in the bed. Do you want to get up out of that comfortable spot? It can be a hard transition especially if you had a long night. There are people who you know that live in this place and have never moved because staying in a stuck place too long can paralyze you and your future. You may be asking, “how do I move then?” Start by doing something you love doing. It may be cooking, reading, writing, spending time with your friends, or exercising. Moving can mean cleaning or decluttering. God makes major moves on your behalf when He sees that you are putting forth an effort and putting in the work too.
Believe that you always have options
(Isaiah 43:19-For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.) God wants you to believe in Him and believe in the positive. It does not matter how you feel. Have you noticed this is a belief “thing”? Once your mindset changes, your position will too. The perspective that is paralleled with faith is always believing that there are many options available to you despite that “stuck place”.
In essence, moving from a “stuck place” means praying to God, moving toward your next, and believing that options are yours for the taking.
